PATIENT TESTIMONIAL
Her path, anti-inflammatory nutrition, and the results she achieved

“
My name is Claire, I am 43 years old and was diagnosed with lipedema about 2 years ago.
For years, I tried every kind of diet. I would lose a little weight around my upper body, but never in my legs.
Today, I focus on managing lipedema, but more importantly, on what I can control: my nutrition, inflammation, and overall healthy lifestyle.

MY JOURNEY
My lipedema began at puberty. My legs have always been disproportionately larger compared to the rest of my body. Despite “eating healthy” and exercising a lot, nothing really changed.
Once I was diagnosed, I decided to work with a dietitian who specializes in inflammation and completely restructured my eating habits.
MY DAILY EATING PLAN
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
| Snacks
My golden rules ✓ Choose whole, unprocessed foods ✓ High in fiber and omega-3s ✓ Low in refined sugar ✓ Hydration: 1.5 to 2 L of water daily ✓ Eat mindfully and stop when satisfied |
MY RESULTS AFTER 6 MONTHS
✓ Lost 13 lbs (mostly from upper body weight)
✓ Waist circumference: – 2.8 inches
✓ Legs feel noticeably less swollen
✓ Less pain and tenderness
✓ Softer skin
✓ More energy throughout the day
✓ Better sleep and improved mood
“
I wouldn’t say my lipedema is gone, but I feel like I am finally taking an active role in my health. My body no longer feels like it’s working against me.
