BREAST AUGMENTATION

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the volume and/or shape of the breast when there is a clear indication, whether for aesthetic or reconstructive purposes. It is based on a rigorous morphological analysis, comprehensive information, and a shared decision between the patient and the surgeon.

It can be achieved through the placement of silicone breast implants or by autologous fat transfer (lipofilling), provided there is sufficient fat available. In some cases, a breast lift (correction of sagging breasts) may be performed in conjunction with this procedure to restore a harmonious shape.

The most frequent indications are insufficient breast volume, breast asymmetries, changes after pregnancy or weight loss, as well as reconstructive situations after breast surgery.

The choice of technique, volume, and surgical strategy is based on breast anatomy, skin quality, the patient's realistic expectations, and long-term biological constraints. The goal is not solely volume increase, but also respecting the breast architecture, maintaining overall silhouette balance, and ensuring the stability of the result over time.

Breast implants are implantable medical devices requiring regular clinical monitoring. There is no automatic lifespan for implants: the decision to replace or remove them is based on clinical examination, imaging if necessary, and the individual patient's circumstances.

At Dr. Danino's practice, breast augmentation is part of a measured medical approach, based on current scientific data, with particular attention paid to safety and long-term follow-up.

Academic expertise and scientific references

Dr. Danino's surgical approach is informed by academic and research activities focused on the safety of breast implants and their interactions with tissues:

Presentation of results – Before/after photos

The before/after photographs are intended to illustrate real results obtained in patients operated on by Dr. Danino, within a strict medical and ethical framework.

·

• Photos taken under standardized conditions (position, lighting, distance).

· They do not constitute a guarantee of results: each patient has their own morphology and evolution.

· The results depend on the technique used (implants, lipofilling, combined lifting) and the postoperative follow-up.

These images contribute to preoperative information and the construction of realistic expectations.
